Excuse My French Premieres with the Attendance of Its Cast and Celebrities

Prominent Egyptian production houses Film Clinic and The Producers Films have successfully held the premiere of Amr Salama's Excuse My French yesterday, Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014. With the presence of the film cast and numerous celebrities and film critics, the screening was held at Galaxy Cineplex Mall of Arabia cinema, simultaneously with the film's release in Egyptian theatres.

The premiere was attended by Excuse My French's writer and director Amr Salama and producers Mohamed Hefzy and Hani Osama along with the film's stars Kinda Alloush, Hany Adel, the talented child Ahmed Dash, Moaaz Nabil, Bayoumi Fouad, in addition to a large number of renowned celebrities and filmmakers including Hend Sabry, Mona Zaki, Dorra, Yasmin Raies, Maged El Masry, Hana Shiha, Ayten Amer, Bushra, Karim Fahmy, Amr Abed, Scriptwriter and Director Mohamed Diab, Hadi El Bagoury, Director Sherif El Bendary, Scriptwriter Amr Samir Atef, Novelist Ezzedine Choukri Fishere, Amir from the Cairokee band, and Wust El Balad members.

This premiere comes after the film's world premiere at the opening gala of Luxor Egyptian and European Film Festival on Sunday, January 19th, 2014, which was attended by its cast and makers. Carrying the name of the most famous touristic city in the world, Excuse My French also screened on January 21st, 2014, within the framework of the festival's official competition.

The teaser trailer and official trailer of Excuse My French have reached more than 320,000 views on YouTube. This came only a few days after Salama uploaded the teaser trailer on his channel on YouTube, simultaneously with the release of the film's first poster on January 4th, 2014.

Excuse My French tells the story of Hany Abdallah Peter, a child whose life turns upside down after the death of his father and his mother's discovery of the huge debts they have to pay. He is forced to experience the huge gap between classes after moving from his old elite private school to a public one. Things get complicated for Hany after having to hide being a Christian surrendering to the assumptions of his classmates and teachers who didn't read his full name and mistook him for a Muslim.

Written and directed by Amr Salama, Excuse My French is produced by Film Clinic and The Producers Films which runs by producer Hani Ossama. Starring Kinda Alloush, Hany Adel, and the talented child Ahmed Dash, the film is distributed in Egyptian theaters by Al Massah Art Production.

Excuse My French is Amr Salam's third directorial effort after On a Day Like Today in 2008, and Asmaa, which garnered 19 awards locally and internationally since its release in 2011.
