Cairo, Egypt| Wednesday- 1 April, 2015:

Egyptian production slate Film Clinic is landing a double entry at ALFILM-Arab Film Festival Berlin with Amr Salama's Excuse My French and Villa 69 by Ayten Amin. To take place between 8- 15 April, 2015, the festival will host two screenings for each film.

Written and directed by Amr Salama, Excuse My French is produced by Film Clinic in collaboration with The Producers and stars Kinda Alloush, Hany Adel, and the talented child Ahmed Dash. The film tells the story of a child called Hany Abdallah Peter whose life turns upside down after the death of his father and his mother's discovery of the huge debts they have to pay. Hany is forced to experience the huge gap between classes after moving from his old elite private school to a public one. Things get complicated for Hany after having to hide being a Christian surrendering to the assumptions of his classmates and teachers who didn't read his full name and has mistaken him for a Muslim.

Co-written by Mohamed Al Hag and Mahmoud Ezzat, Villa 69 is Ayten's feature directorial debut. The film is produced by Wael Omar's Middlewest Films, and Mohamed Hefzy's Film Clinic, and stars Khaled Abol Naga, Arwa Gouda and Egyptian veteran actress Lebleba.

Villa 69 follows Hussein, a man living in isolation in his house. Characters from his past begin to invade his solitary lifestyle; witnessing drastic changes following the encounter with his sister and nephew, Seif. As a result, gradual and yet radical changes in his dogmatic view of life begin to emerge.
