Participating with Four Films of Its Productions in Luxor Egyptian and European Film Festival

Mohamed Hefzy and Film Clinic Productions' Filmmakers in a Panel Discussion on Independent Filmmaking

Within the framework of the 2nd Luxor Egyptian and European Film Festival, and as part of Film Clinic's remarkable presence in the festival by participating with four films, Producer Mohamed Hefzy will be part of a panel discussion on independent filmmaking in Egypt along with many of Film Clinic production house celebrities and filmmakers.

Aiming to shed light on the increasing success of independent films in Egypt during the past years and how they have growingly reaped several awards representing Egypt in international film events, the panel will be held on Tuesday, January 21st, 2014, at 12:00 pm.

Moderated by Film Critic Ramy Abdel Raziq, the panel will be attended by founder of Film Clinic, Moahmed Hefzy, Ayten Amin, director of Villa 69 which stars Khaled Abol Naga, Maggie Morgan director of Asham, and Asser Yassin who stars in Rags and Tatters along with several directors including Mohamed Khan, Yousry Nasrallah, Ahmed Rashwan, Nadin Khan, Hala Lotfy, and Producer Mohamed Samir.

Local production slate Film Clinic participates with four of its latest film productions in the festival this year including Amr Salama's Excuse My French, which will have its world premiere at the opening gala of the film event and will also screen as part of the official competition, in addition to Ayten Amin's Villa 69 and it will showcase as part of a special screening at the festival. Film Clinic also participates in the festival's Egyptian Independent Cinema section with both Ahmed Abdallah's Rags and Tatters and Maggie Morgan's Asham.
